The Edelweiss restaurant offers excellent food, plus the leisurely, friendly fashion that is in tune with the spirit of Alpine, Texas. Every wednesday is steak night. You tell them how you like your steak cooked and how big you want it. They will grill it to your specifications. This is west Texas cattle country. You can't go wrong. _Serving an inferior steak out here is a hangin' offense._
