Sawmill Town USA is an ideal place if you want to take your club, or a group of your friends, someplace unusual for a weekend.

The large old west style Iron Horse Saloon expands its horizons with a biker flavor to the decor, 2 pool tables, band stand with excellent DJ sound system with mixing board, great selection of CDs, dance floor, and lots of tables and chairs.

While the Iron Horse is generally open, it draws the best crowds when bands are scheduled on an irregular basis. Typically open at 9 AM, the saloon sells only set-ups (BYOB) and does not serve alcoholic beverages. Even when rented for wedding receptions or other special events, the saloon must close by 11:30 PM by Texas law.

The Road Kill Cafe can accommodate up to 60 people and has a full kitchen for food preparation. Aside from the porta-potties available around the grounds, there are indoor facilities at the Road Kill Cafe for your guests.

The side deck on the Road Kill Cafe is great for watching morning sunrises or a leisurely breakfast or coffee.

The Sheriff’s office, has two cells. Additional facilities include separate buildings housing men’s and women’s shower and rest room facilities. You can even rent a room in the jail and sleep there…
