Mike Jones has ridden for over 35 years so he understands how riders feel about their bikes. He knows that they want their bikes back quickly when they need basic services such as oil changes or tire installation and they want it done right the first time.

A couple of years back Mike decided to open a motorcycle repair shop to specialize in V-Twin service and repairs. He had the audacity to think he could compete successfully against the factory dealers, reminiscent of a David versus Goliath! But succeed he did and he has kept at it ever since. And he does the work while you wait whenever possible because he does understand.

Trained at the WYOTECH/AMI motorcycle service school in Florida, Mike worked for a while at the Daytona H-D dealership before heading home to Houston.

Mike won’t shortcut service or send a customer out with an incomplete repair job, which could be dangerous to the rider. This is a service-oriented shop that depends on word-of-mouth advertising. His philosophy of “quality first” has served him well with customers referring their friends helping to build his business.

Mike’s goal is to be the largest after-market dealer in Houston. Not a simple task, but after watching his rapid success for several years, we believe that someday he is going to reach his goal.

The staff at Jones Cycles can handle virtually anything you need done, at prices that compete very favorably with a dealership. Mike and staff are experienced with all types of V-Twin engines – shovels, pans, knuckles and flatheads and are adept at more complex work.

It is evident in the way that customers are treated at Jones Cycle that they plan to be around for a long while. And for you “DIY” types, they will special order any parts you need so you can do your own work.
