This is not a paid ad. It has taken a lot of research to arrive at my own conclusion that Blue Bell truly is the best ice cream in the country.

Located on U.S. Highway 290 (about seventy-two miles northwest of Houston) Brenham has long been a popular day ride destination from Houston or Austin, especially in March and April when the Bluebonnets are at their peak.

While you are in Brenham why not check out the Blue Bell Ice Cream plant for a tour. “The Little Creamery in Brenham” is open year-round, weekdays only. The winter schedule may vary.
